This new look at European Pop Art with masterpieces by David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, and Niki de Saint Phalle amongst others, brings into focus the most popular themes of this movement: «consumerism», «spectacle», «media» and «leisure time.» «Europop» follows the artistic approaches and means of expression from London, where the term Pop Art was coined around 1955, via Paris to Düsseldorf and Milan. With over 80 surprising works from more than ten European countries are on view at the Kunsthaus Zürich.
