As an artist, Gustave Caillebotte (1848-1894) created significant works, as a collector he was among the first to support his young artist friends such as Monet, Renoir, Pissarro and Sisley. The special themes of this exhibition are glittering waves, rowing, sailing and life on the water. A total of fifty paintings will be shown, including rarely exhibited works from private collections and the artist's own design drawings for the construction of boats.
