Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre’s Giselle is a a twisted take on the classic favourite set in Ballyfeeny, a fictitious Irish town where life is tough and the lace curtains hide everything from lust to violence. The town is transformed by the sudden arrival of Albrecht from Bratislava whose weekly line-dancing classes offer the frustrated inhabitants a glimpse of glamour. For Giselle, our innocent heroine trapped by cruelty and fate, this brings a brief happiness.
