Presumably to stimulate the market for Korean contemporary art, largely unknown outside of Seoul, the Korean Eye Moon Generation Exhibition and Auction has brought together a group of leading Korean contemporary artists and galleries to create the first international exhibition and sale of Korean contemporary art.

Additional works from the artists will be sold in the Phillips de Pury & Company Contemporary Art sales in July.

The works begin as drawings that are reminiscent of classical natural studies and culminate as anthropomorphic skeletal sculptures.
