Gabriel Metsu: Rediscovered Master of the Dutch Golden Age

This international loan exhibition pays homage to the Dutch Golden Age painter Gabriel Metsu (1629-1667). It brings together some 40 of the artist's finest and most celebrated works from all phases of his career, including a number of recently discovered and restored works.

After Dublin, Gabriel Metsu: Rediscovered Master of the Dutch Golden Age will travel to the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (16 December 2010 – 21 March 2011) and the National Gallery of Art, Washington (17 April – 24 July 2011).
