Gabriel Metsu: Rediscovered Master of the Dutch Golden Age

This international loan exhibition pays homage to the Dutch Golden Age painter Gabriel Metsu (1629-1667). It brings together some 40 of the artist's finest and most celebrated works from all phases of his career, including a number of recently discovered and restored works.

After Dublin, Gabriel Metsu: Rediscovered Master of the Dutch Golden Age will travel to the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (16 December 2010 21 March 2011) and the National Gallery of Art, Washington (17 April 24 July 2011).
