Seun’s band is not, however, a clone of his father’s, although we see on stage the same madness and fervent movement and although it still numbers two-thirds of its original members. He mixes jazz and funk with the unique groove of African percussion on subjects such as social inequality, racial discrimination, political injustice and pollution.
