Robert Doisneau (1912-1994) is one of France's greatest photographers. Having started his career as an industrial photographer for Renault, Doisneau went on to become famous for the photographs he took in the streets of Paris and its suburbs (such as the immensely well-known Baiser de l’Hôtel de Ville), which won him numerous prizes and international recognition.
Palazzo Esposizione hosts an important exhibition dedicated to Robert Doisneau. On display over 240 photographs taken between 1934 and 1991.
