About forty, mainly bronze, sculptures by the Dutch sculptor Willem van Tetrode, provide an impressive overview of the development of this 16th-century artist from Delft.
The characteristic aspects of his work are the tremendous bundles of male muscles, the athletic poses and the often very three-dimensional compositions. The bronze statues on display in this show of male muscle nudes come from various leading museums and from private collections all over the world.
