A selection of documentaries and dance films from around the world, the series features fourteen programs including premieres, retrospectives as well as two special events.
Among the highlights of this richly diverse festival are two Indian films, one a narrative feature devoted to the life of temple dancers in southern India, another a documentary about a master of kathakali, an American documentary about tap dancing showgirls and two special programs— one on the art of striptease both in and out of the movies and another covering the career of innovative choreographer Vincent Paterson.
