Two hundred designs, images and objects reflect the frivolous and luxurious lifestyle of the Roaring Twenties, for which Art Deco seems to have been specially created. Programme booklets, record sleeves and sheet music covers bring the atmosphere of the café dansant, the tango and the foxtrot back to life. To enhance the appeal of this exhibition, celebrated artists were asked to design a book cover. René Magritte, Paul Colin, Rie Cramer, Chris Lebeau, Willy Herzog, Paul Telemann and other artists depict the world of entertainment.
